ID/MEMBERSHIP CARD 

All Golf Academy Members receive a Golf Academy ID Card, which is required for identification purposes, and enables the student to:

• Receive range balls at Tee Time Golf Centre Students are entitled to 100 balls per visit
• Be permitted to play on the course at Tee Time Golf Centre
• Be permitted to play on the course at Fleetwood Golf Club *

* ONLY pupils enrolled onto the Standard/Advanced Programme are made ‘Club’ Members of Fleetwood Golf Club and are permitted to play on the course outside school time. Being a ‘Club’ Member also enables pupils students to:

• Play in club competitions and Gain/maintain a golfing an official golfing handicap
• Enter club competitions
• Discount on food & drink in the clubhouse

 

GOLF PROGRAMME 

The table and timetable below indicates what students receive, and the benefits available to them, when enrolling on to one of the following programmes:

• Introductory Programme
• Standard Programme
• Advanced Programme

 

SUMMARY

• All students receive 15 x 30 minute 1-2-1 training sessions/lessons per annum.
• These sessions are scheduled during non school time and circulate around the student’s timetable.
• Students on the Standard/Advanced Programme are given the opportunity to do the stated number of ‘Extended Games Training Sessions’ on Wednesday afternoons. Standard Programme Members can do golf during games for 2 terms.
• Advanced Programme Members can do golf during games for 3 terms.
• All students are given the opportunity to do the stated number of ‘Extended Activity Training Sessions’ on Tuesdays or Thursdays throughout the school year.
• Students on the Standard/Advanced Programme are given the opportunity to do the stated number of ‘Evening Training Sessions’ on Mondays,Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the school year.
• Students on the Standard Programme are scheduled to attend their ‘Evening Training Session’ on a Friday. 
• Students on the Advanced Programme are scheduled to attend their ‘Evening Training Sessions’ on a Monday and Wednesday or a Wednesday and Friday.
• Students on the Standard/Advanced Programme are given the opportunity to do the stated number of ‘Strength & Conditioning Sessions’ on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the school year.
• Students on the Standard Programme are scheduled to attend their ‘Strength & Conditioning Sessions’ on a Thursday.
• Students on the Advanced Programme are scheduled to attend their ‘Strength & Conditioning Sessions’ on a Tuesday and Thursday.
• All Students are given the opportunity to do the stated number of ‘Weekend Programme Sessions’, with sessions scheduled throughout the school year.
• Students on the Advanced Programme are given the opportunity to do the stated number of ‘Independent Training Sessions’, with sessions scheduled on a weekly basis.

The term(s) that the student is able to do golf during games is to be agreed with the Director of Sport.

If students are unable to attend the sessions scheduled then they should inform the Director of Golf who will look into an alternative option.
